Job Title: Salesforce Solutions Architect – Part-time/Flex-time
Location: Boston, MA – Requires residency in Greater Boston
Hours Per Week:  Part-time/Flex-time
Compensation: Hourly

501Partners provides Salesforce solutions for nonprofits. We have a highly functioning team of really nice people focused on a social mission to support nonprofits in their work.

We seek an entrepreneurial self-starter with extensive Salesforce experience. The Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for the full application architecture and development lifecycle process that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services and solutions. This role will require a strong knowledge of development, database design, systems implementation and crafting technical solutions to complex business needs.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Drive platform roadmap by engaging with leadership, staff and IT professionals at our nonprofit clients to fully understand business requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to implementation consultants
  • Provide consultative support, define technical solutions and evangelize functional and technical capabilities of the platform. Identify potential risks and impact on operations associated with new solutions
  • Facilitate and review the definition and implementation of standards, methodologies, and best practices that guide the design of technology solutions
  • Systems integration of Salesforce Apps and other software such as Pardot and Marketo

Desired characteristics/experience:

  • Motivation to drive results for impact in the nonprofit sector
  • 5+ years of software systems architecture and integration experience
  • Possess detailed knowledge and awareness of emerging trends and technologies within the Force.com Platform
  • Outstanding leadership and motivational skills to ensure that technology solutions continuously meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Certified on one or more of the following: Force.com – Architect, Developer, Admin
  • Understanding of best practices and design trade-offs, with the ability to communicate design choices
  • Awareness of mobile solutions and considerations
  • Awareness of common third-party solution providers for Force.com
  • Knowledge of internet and cloud architecture paradigms
  • Exposure to the non-profit sector is strongly desired; direct non-profit experience a plus

We seek an entrepreneurial self-starter with Salesforce experience to provide administrative and implementation support to our clients. This is a high-growth position, with exposure to a wide array of clients in the non-profit sector. It is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain consulting experience, grow into a role that influences our product offerings, and participate in building a company with a social conscience.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to non-technical end users such as report writing, creating custom fields, and creating workflows on single objects
  • Provide remote Salesforce Administration duties
  • Execution of multiple tasks across multiple projects
  • Consulting with clients on work flow and process

Title:               Development Manager
Reports to:       CEO

Founded in 2012, 501Partners is a rapidly growing consulting company that provides Salesforce solutions to nonprofits.  While 501 Partners’ main presence is in the Boston area, we support nonprofit organizations nationwide.

We currently seek an entrepreneurial self-starter to help build a company with a social conscience.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record establishing and cultivating leads and strong relationships within the non-profit community, experience in crafting compelling written and oral communication, and the verbal skills required to build credibility when presenting materials to external audiences.

Description/Responsibilities:

The Development Manager’s primary responsibility is to build a sustainable, repeatable pipeline of Salesforce projects in the non-profit sector.  This involves networking, trade shows, speaking engagements, demos, proposals and basic prospecting.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Non-profit business or development experience
  • Proven relationship building experience within the non-profit community
  • Knowledge or familiarity with Salesforce
